WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Mental illness and substance abuse cost employers an estimated $225.8 billion each year. Businesses often prioritize physical healthcare over mental healthcare which is a shame because absenteeism or non-productivity due to mental health issues cost businesses dearly. In this episode, we will talk about the hidden cost of mental health and how it impacts our businesses. We will talk about programs that work and how employers can take care of their employees better so they can be more engaged with their work. We will discuss mental health with Nicole Winkler who works with workers regularly on improving their lives so they can focus on the job.
