As an executive, you likely already know the importance of having middle managers. They lead the teams who carry out the day-to-day business of your company- allowing you to focus on the big picture.   • Create systems and processes for accountability. Set the expectation for monthly progress updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) for their individual and team goals. Always follow through with action plans to course correct, when needed.
